Born in an unknown location somewhere in the heart of Russia, Jeremy Appel is an actor, musician, writer and all-around great guy currently based in the *almost* eponymous Big Apple.

My story

Jer received his bachelor in Drama at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he spent his years there performing and creating the content he enjoys consuming.

Jer has always been fascinated with two subjects since childhood: music, and laughter. His first muses were the original soundtrack of Pokemon Emerald and the comedic timing of his family’s favorite movie, My Cousin Vinny. His biological clock is ticking like this *slams foot*. Raised on a moderate to severe dose of cartoons, musical theatre, and video games, Jer has a preference for the outlandish and the animated.

Jer has been curing his musical comedy like a fine meat to serve as the centerpiece for his charcuterie board of artistic endeavors. His juicy array of impressions and smoked improvisation play the critical roles of grapes and cheese. The Wine? A Russian Piano Noir (10 Years). This fine board has served the development of his award winning music video Just Two Guys At A Urinal, where Jer celebrates the joy in taking a leak while making a friend. The video’s creation stirred the collaborative spirit within him- leading to the production of his developing podcast, The Brothers Drunk, where he, with his Co-Host, has created an original soundtrack and voiced countless fairy tale characters. He’ll always hold dear his first play, Cockpit. Written on a combination of bed and couch, this slapstick joyride tells the chaotic tale of a flight crew at the edge of sanity.

When he’s not creating, Jer finds love in catching up with friends and family, playing his piano, exploring the various nooks and crannies of NYC, and looking at his succulents. He’s partial to coffeeshop mornings and board game nights. If you see him, say hi! I bet he’d give it back to ya.
